Accessibility Statement
What we do so that this website works for everyone, and how to tell us about a problem.
- Last updated
- 23 October 2026
xuplin aims to make xuplin.com usable on any device, in any browser and with any assistive technology. This statement sets out what has been done, which shortcomings remain and how to report a problem.
Our approach
At xuplin, accessible pages are part of everyday maintenance rather than an extra. Each new page and each change of design is checked so that text stays readable, the menu can be used without a mouse and no information depends on a single visual cue. The statement applies to xuplin.com only.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this website, or cannot obtain information that you require, please inform us by email at hello@xuplin.com or by telephone on 01823 442917. It helps if you identify the page, describe what happened and mention the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five working days.
Standards
We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. At present this site is only partially conformant: most content satisfies the guidelines, while the points listed below do not. Where a requirement cannot be met immediately, we look for another way of supplying the information.
Known limitations
Several illustrations are generic, and their alternative text names the subject without describing it in detail.
Information in another form
This website is not the only way of obtaining information from xuplin. You can telephone us on 01823 442917 during normal business hours, write to hello@xuplin.com or send a letter to 14 Hammet Street, Taunton TA1 1RN. Where a page is not accessible to you, we will read the information out by telephone or supply it in plain text form.
What we do
Pages are built with semantic HTML: headings follow a single order, lists are marked as lists and links say where they lead. Navigation and content form separate regions, the language of each page is declared, and informative images have alternative texts while decorative ones are marked as such.
Colours are selected so that body text, links and buttons maintain a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Font sizes are expressed in relative units, so that text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off. Links, menus and form fields can be operated using the keyboard alone.
Preparation and review
The present statement is dated 23 October 2026 and rests on a self-assessment carried out by xuplin, not on an external audit. We examined the navigation, the contact form and the main page types ourselves, using a keyboard, browser zoom and a screen reader. We review the text once a year and whenever the website is rebuilt.
